Viscometer

Viscosity is a physical measure of viscosity (the degree of cohesion within a fluid), and is determined by the internal friction between the particles that make up the material. Another definition is: the degree of resistance of a fluid to a force applied to it.
If a material is very fluid (i.e. little viscous), the viscosity is low. A "thick" liquid has a high viscosity. Water has a low viscosity, honey a high viscosity. The viscosity can be determined or checked with a viscometer.
